"Door open" light is staying on
Hi,
My door open light is staying on even with the car locked. Ive tried pressing each of the door switches with nothing changing.
If I push hard with both hands on the steering wheel it turns off lol?
Any suggestions?
Many thanks.

The domelight is linked to the same circuit as the ignition ring light, so it could be something involved in that system which is causing it. Try manipulating the shroud/area around that light.
Check out this thread, started by me but the mystery got resolved - and it's helped a few other people out too:

Haha yeah a pretty hard push and hold it, letting go turns it back on.
Found this out after frustration lol.
How do I go about taking the steering column off? Pops off?.
Thanks

Hmmm if the door ajar light is on too it might be just a faulty switch in one of the doors (little rubber coloured thing in the door shut).
No idea about the steering wheel thing though
Shroud comes off with three(?) screws underneath it I think - then it pops off in two halves.

Fixed! I took the bottom casing off and behind the lever for the steering wheel adjustment is a large connection block.
I cabled tied the two large cables together to stop it moving and success!. It was stopping my alarm arming and the flickering in the corner of my eye was getting to me .
Thanks
