Hi

Is there additional mapping done to accommodate the aircon being on? I would have thought this was not needed as really the engine is just under extra load in the same was as if it was driving the car up a hill. Thought I would ask though as aircon is currently not fitted to my car but circumstances may mean the car is mapped before the aircon is installed.

Thoughts???

A/C on will trigger the ecu to raise idle rpm only so fitting aircon after you've mapped won't cause any issues.

 

Also ECU turns off aircon at high loads
