A friend has got a 52 Plate STi with TSL 333 pack on it (installed back in 2003)
The car has just decided to throw a CEL and idles at about 2000rpm.
I hooked up ECUExplorer and it seems to be logging 5 error codes.
2 are ignition switch related, which may be red herrings (my thoughts).
3 are Oxygen sensor low voltage related.
Looking under the bonnet it appears that the TSL upgrade includes a sports cat, which has no lambda fitted in the top of the downpipe. So I'm guessing it's in the bottom somewhere (sorry, I'm not upto speed on 2001 and later cars).
ECUExplorer is reporting that the 02 sensor is up around 0.45V at idle, which sound low to me. So ties in with the error report.
Would it be possible to disconnect the lamda on these cars (as per the earlier models) and let it run off the base map rather then 02 feedback.
Doing this would confirm the lambda was at fault, as I guess there not cheap OE parts from subaru.

Also just read on OpenECU that ECUExplorer can be a bit flakey when reading out codes i.e can get the wrong ones ???
Not sure how true this is......

Rear 02 sensor just throws CEL P0420 which doesn't do anything apart from light the CEL with no performace loss !!
I also had front lambda sensor problems with code P0031 (I think) but no idle problems..sorted by new sensor (thanks Bob)
I had problems with idle on my newage eventually traced to the ICVS by RCMS ...I had a nosebleed at the replacement cost !!

Cheers,
I thought it may be ISCV too, but thats not what was reported.
SO I've told them to unplug front & rear lambda's to see if runs OK on the base map (assuming it behaves in the same way as the classics when a lambda is unplugged).
Is the ISCV a bolt on, to the side of the throttle housing as per 99/00 cars.
