Lost boost on 06 spec C

Default Lost boost on 06 spec C

only boosting to 0.7 bar max..

I am new to these scooby engine, can someone show which boost pipes I should check that can cause this?? (Pics if possible )

Car has been fitted with 4 Defi gagues from Japan. Other things remain standard.

Don't mean to state the obvious, but them Defi's act as a controller as well. So check you haven't got the boost limit set on the gauge.

I thought they only have a warning function didnt know they can set limit as well. I will definately have a look, but chances are slim

No they don't, the controller is only for the funtionality of the gauges (peak readings, warning setings, recording and playback etc.), they have no control over anything to do with the engine management.

Oh Ok then, my bad.
A mate has got them in his v5 STI. The day he got it, his first jap car, he set the boost via the Defi gauge, and when driving, it didn't go past this. I could see a small DEFI block near the boost solenoid under the bonnet, so assumed it was for that.
