Default Going back to standard recirc valve

assuming this is the right one for a 96 wrx ra, looks like it from the info i can find.

what would i need to do to take off the Bailey dump valve that was on when i bought the car and fit this one on ?

I'm not very mechanically minded so any help would be great !

cheers

Steve.

Im not too familiar with that model. The slim pipe on the top of the dumpvalve is the vacuum hose which is used to release the pressure.
This pipe will still be needed on the re circ so just plug it in to it. Also there should be a pipe thats been blocked up. You will need to connect it up to the dunpvalve for it to recirculate the air back into the system.

yeah, I have not seen the standard one fitted, i can see where the valve goes and where it fits into the 2 larger pipes its just the 3rd one (off the top of DV) i wasn't sure of.

Im still finding my way round my car (1st scooby) dont want to get anything wrong ! im going back to standard airbox and valve before i decide what mods i want to make

Your bailey dumpvalve must have the slim pipe connected to it. Simply take it off the bailey dv and plug it into the recirc dv. The other end of the pipe should tap into either the inlet manifold or any other small vacuum pipe i.e. actuator pipe.

There should be an arrow on the DV, the large pipe at the arrow head end connects to the inlet pipe to the turbo - this will be blocked off at the moment. The other large pipe connects to the large pipe the the Bailey is connected to, the thin pipe connects to the thin pipe that the Bailey is connected to.

If you are still unsure post a pic of your engine bay

BTW the one in the picture is the correect one for your car
