Just been reading on one of the american bbs about failure of MY06 STI 'liquid filled' engine mounts. Seems this has been a common problem. There hasnt been a recall issued but dealers are being told to replace broken mounts under waranty with MY05 spec mounts.
Anyone in Uk had any problems ?

 

Found a broken one today on my MY06 STI. Was causing steering knuckle/universal joint to contact the turbo de-cat down pipe under full load. Just glad I can fix it myself without taking the engine out! Group N replacements me thinks, just to be sure.
