Default Bonnet Catch!!

my bonnet keeps popping open to safety catch when im driving just wondered if anyone has suggestions to help me out??

Perhaps the catch is dry and not shutting properly, try greasing. Also how do you shut the bonnet. I drop mine from about 10", just pushing it down may not close it properly and also dent it.

mine does exactly the same on my 95 wagon but i have the 98 facelift version.
what i normally do is spray the full catch and springs, and leave it for a few mins, it normall works 4 me

sorry spray it with degreaser or wd 40

My catch also became sticky, the catch bolt gave way a little. Simply readjusted it, greased it and bobs yer uncle.. A bit of trial and error as you don't want it set too high or the bonnet will wobble like a good un at speed.

Just had the same thing happen with my RB5, day before someone is coming to look at it to buy it (Hopefully). A good spray of WD40 and a poke with a screw driver to clear away some of the dirt, and works a treat.
