Default EARLY STI INTERCOOLER

Is there any difference between the standard black slanted intercooler and the sti silver slanted intercooler ? different size or slightly bigger ? if so is it worth changing to an sti one

I'm guessing you have an early wrx/uk model.
The STI i/c are deeper and sit underneath the bonnet scoop straight not on a slant.
As far as i know any classic i/c will fit straight onto the early classics with a bit of modification

think he means Difference between a v1-2 WRX and V1-2 STi???? As far as i know the STi's are deeper.

I could measure my silver STi slant IC to see how deep it is. Somebody with an early UK with a slanty black IC could measure theirs and we could post back????
