Replacement for the badge grill?

As I know nothing about cars I wonder if someone could explain what would be involved if I wanted to replace the grill on MY99 uk 2000 that the badge sits on with a metal mesh ??

There are some options for grills without badges and the hole replaced with mesh.
If you want to keep the badge, get yourself some mesh and attach it with Arrodite!!
