Default Bugeye frontmounts..

.. can you put a front mount on a standard bugeye with min mods and a remap or would it be a waste of time? just asking out of interest.

Future mods would be on the line later tho.

Nothing wrong with fitting it mate. If you get a remap, it'll be fine and dandy...even without one, it'll be fine. Just a bit laggy and poo.

i took advice from RCM who said not to fit a FMIC till you are pushing enough air to get over 350bhp ( even thought they old sold FMIC's at that time )

1 year later i moved to a fmic when getting closer to the 400 bhp mark

I'd reckon it to build the boost slower....that's it. The way you've just described isn't what i'd expect from a standard car and fitting an FMIC. With extra mods it could be like that. If you want it snappy, stick with the top mount, but theres no reason you CAN'T fit an FMIC IYSWIM?

Give Harvey a shout then Paul.

I'm sure he could give you a better explaination than myself, while you could get a Hybrid off him. Good kit and well worth the money IMHO.

Looking at this too and not sure if I should get a front mount and just drive around until I get it mapped. Its my everyday car and I don't want anything to happen until its mapped ie i won't run lean or loke a dog for everyday driving?

Anyone else have any info?
