wobbly up pipe help

Default wobbly up pipe help

just took headers off to port them to find that my up pipe is wobbly surely this is not supposed to be right? ,now i have to take it off as i think that its loose or broken,its a standard one

It's probably the heat shield. Cut it off and wrap it.
The heat shield will eventually start making a very annoying squeak/rattle.

have the headers off and have hold of the end of the uppipe not the shield and it can move left and right,is a standard uppipe solid or flexi

it has a flexi joint in it.. don't panic!

thank god for that then.i thought i would be undoing every thing to get them off,

am porting my headers at mo,using a drill and a set of £1.50 grinding stones coming on well but ive ran out of stones ha ha
cant wait to get them on
