Yes but reasonable work..
the 94WRX saloon had a top entry TD05.. the Wagon and top entry TD04..
The MY01 turbo is front entry, so you would need to alter the pipework to accommdate that.. you can fit a 90degree bend directly onto the turbo and point it upwards though.
But assuming you have a saloon the ecu map will be out as the MY01 turbo will be smaller..
Long and short of it is that you are better trying to get a TD05.
