Did a search but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for. I currently have a scoobysport back box on my MY03 WRX and am wanting to change the centre section ( not the cat pipe or down pipe ) to allow more of the flat 4 burble into the cabin. Was wondering if the non-resonated pipe will be horrendous on the motorway. Dont do a lot of motorway driving so i dont mind a bit more noise at a cruise but i definately dont want to get a resonated pipe only to find there isnt much difference in the noise than before. Basically i want to hear the noise all the time even when driving normally but without unbearable drone on the motorway. Some increase in drone is ok as i accept you cant have everything and i would definately prefer motorway drone to no appreciable noise difference if that was the case with the resonated centre section. All advice gratefully appreciated.

When i changed the resonated section to non-resonated, my car only then sounded like a scoob should.
