Are these plugs ok to just put in the Impreza as in no need to gap them?

I changed mine recently, and they didn't need gapping, they came at 0.7mm.... however, i did check them all carefully just in case....

Also what other car uses this plugs as std as im having prob woth my local halfords getting them.

what is the actual difference between the two sets? is it worth it getting the 7's?
