Default 96 wrx missing under load!

Hi Guys I have posted before on this & still not solved!

I was just wondering if anyone has any bost gauge advise?

I borowed a gauge off a mate who works in a VW garage & it reads about 1bar when u turn it on not conected to the car which im guessing is atmosperic presure??
When i conect it to the car on idel it reads about 0.400mb rising to about1.8barbar under boost(well as high as i can get it before it kangaroo's all over the shop!)
So im guessing i have to take 1bar from the 1.8 giving me about .8bar of boost?

Anyway i dount seem to be getting on top off this problem!

I have tried coil packs
boost solinoid
plugs
MAF
checking the boost!

Could i get this sort of problem due to the fuel pump/filter???

I really am running out of options I have it booked in to have it on a live data machine but not untill next thursday!

Thanks in advance

Andy

This is what i was thinking but it dosent look like it!

It "feels" like overboost fuel cut but if its only .8 bar then im prety sure thats to low!

Where does it take a reading from (boost)Could the sensor be getting a false reading & cutting fuel at to low a presure?

it could be a lot of things (obviously) but before you do anything else i'd get another boost gauge to try. The boost gauge, when fitted and idling will show a neg reading then it will sit at 0 bar when driving until you come on boost and it will measure the boost. You do not need to subtract anything. My gauge shows 0.9 bar (which is standard boost) under load.
