Hi guys

Killed the gearbox on my '93 WRX and have replaced it with a box from a '95 WRX. After the box was fitted there was a strange noise (like a bearing going) every time i accelerated.

Now 2 weeks later my rear diff seems to have died.

Would this be because I replaced the box with a slightly newer one?

Also I presume in now need a diff from a '95 model, so what ratio one do i need to look out for?
