hi can anyone help, in my 98 uk wrx when changing from third to fourth at about 6 rpm it wont go straight in to fourth i find i have to double clutch it to get it in, a real pain in the backside when in the middle of an overtake manouver i think yourl agree. is this common or does it sound like the clutch maybe on its way out.

Hi, im new to Subarus, but i would start by changing the oil to recomended spec, if the problem is still there, i would suspect a worn bulk ring, this slows the gear down to be selected. See what others say?
