I'm lost, anyone got a map ?! (remap advice needed)
Ok so my warranty runs out in may on my UK300.
Currently standard save a scoobysport backbox.
Been speaking with TSL and Extreme Scoobies, both of who have been really helpful. Also now spoken to Powerstation briefly.
I do 30000 miles a year or so, and reliability is vital, so since I cant afford to upgrade the internals yet, I decided to leave the bigger injectors and turbo for now, and just aim for around 280bhp.
Have decided that I will have:
- full decat, apart from centre section which will be a hiflow catted centre
- panel filter
- upgraded fuel pump
- Ecutek remap
- drop links
- eibach springs
- anti lift kit
- have geometry and alignment done
Powerstation have actually since recommended that I leave the injectors, but go VF34 - Im waiting to hear back on why they suggest this.
So Ive *almost* worked out what I want
Im now very confused as to where to go to get it done !
As I said. both TSL and XS have been really helpful so far, and both places obviously know what they are doing, and have experienced mappers (Richard @ TSL and Pat @ XS).
Then theres Powerstation in Gloucester - havent spoken to them yet, but I hear they are very good too. And they are much closer to me than TSL or XS.
What about Scoobyworld? in total getting things from them would seem to be several hundred quid cheaper - whats the drawback ?
Anywhere else ? Where does Bob Rawle do remaps ? People are often raving about his maps..
Should I just go to the cheapset place from these since they should all do a comparable job ??
A bit lost on what to do here, any advice greatly appreciated !!

Been to TSL on several occasions in fact I spent £15K including several remaps there last year, however I have discovered a new mapper. His name is Andy Forest, yes of TOTB fame. Although he's in Edinburgh he's well worth the journey. Top bloke and an excellent mapper. He even has ear phones so he can LISTEN to your engine as you drive it.
MY car has never been so good.
Hope that helps dude.
