Default Is this a standard ECU

Anyone be able to tell me where i find out what ecu i have on my car. I have a 98 uk model.
the ecu no is:- 85
22611 AD 190
A18 000 037 8421
Is this the standard ecu or upgraded?

The ECU Could have had the Chip reprogramed and you may not be able to tell, do you have any info or idear if this has been done ?

Not on a '97 or '98. The only way to re-map a '97-8 ECU is with a piggyback chip, which you can see if you open the ECU case.

Ok so it may be piggy back, can you swap ecus, IE is the Pin outs the same as on a WRX or 99 car etc ?

pull the lid, you'll see if its got a daughter board in there...
