Default Starter sticking.

Every now and then when I try to start my car (MY2000), the starter motor will turn ok then stop as if it has stuck, or straining against something then the engine will fire. It doesnt happen all the time just occasionally (say 1 in 10 starts) and doesnt seem to be getting any better or worse. Thought it could be an earthing problem, but overall I'm not much good with electrics. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers, Daz.

Could well be an earth problem as you say,The earth straps arnt very good on these so its worth adding an extra direct from battery to engine block or gearbox.
