Default Help needed - modifying injector plugs (Nismo/Tomei)

To anyone who has fitted a Nismo/Tomei 550cc or 740cc injector - how did you go about modifying the plugs? I have just fitted a set of the Tomei 740cc injectors to my phase 2 rail, but the plugs look like they are upside down and the connectors are different.

I could cut them down to fit, but I don't think the connectors would hold very well.

I am trying to find a set of pigtails that will fit the plugs. If I do, I assume the wiring order doesn't matter since it's a solenoid?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

cut the slide rails off on the side of the injectors and turn the plug upside down.

Cheers! I think I just needed someone to nudge me into shaving the connectors! I shaved one of the connector rails in the injector as well as the snap in section and it fits perfectly. I may just tape it up for extra security, but it fits pretty snug.

Thanks!

Sorry to jump in on this topic, but need help with 740cc injectors...where did you buy yours from and for how much? I've got a 02 WRx, but seems the last topic I had about buying the 740's seemed to point at having modified oe injectors to flow over 800 (not sure if I'm keen on modified injectors) or pay through the nose for having this size fitted??

Can you buy 740's off the shelf?

These fitted my MY00 UK spec with the mods Jonny mentioned above.

Think Andy F stocks them as well, but I don't think they fit new age cars.
