MAP sensors
Not sure on part no without looking.
Its fitted next to the boost control solenoid on the same metal plate (on the os inner flitch). It is a little black part with a 3 pin plug and a small vacum pipe.
A diagnostic check would tell you if there is a problem (connecting the read memory wires under the stearing column).
What year is your car?
I have one from a my99.
Pm me if you require this.
Out of interest, what problem are you getting that leeds you think the map sensor is at fault?

Thanks.
The problem I'm having is DET, recently noticed on my knocklink
It's weird in that I mainly get it when on a trailing throttle at above 3000rpm (like slowing going around a corner) and then accelerating quickly. One guess is that the MAP is not responding to changes in pressure quickly enough as boost comes on so quickly under these conditions.
Or else my decat is the cause (again boost coming in on too quickly)
