Default Service intervals?

Hi, new to this lark and hoping to get my first scooby soon. I have found one which is a at a good price, long story owner has just emigrated etc. However I am trying to find out what needs doing at what service interval. The reason I ask is It is showing 69K and I dont think it has had a cam belt yet, When are they due? She has been properly maintained to date but is due a service now and I have a feeling it will be a major one. Can anyone confirm? I dont know if it matters but she is a 94 2000 turbo 5 door.

Service schedule (along with a load of other useful stuff) is summarised at www.sidc.co.uk/faq

Should be done every 45K miles or every three years, whichever comes first. 69K miles seems very low for a ten year old car, although you probably didn't need me to say that.

Given that the mileage is so out of kilter with the age of the car, and given that we don't know the full history (does it come with receipts etc?), it would be prudent to get a major service done soon after buying it, if indeed you decide to do so.

This would be a hefty bill if you adopt a "do everything" approach and get the job done at a Subaru main dealer, so suggest you research this (along with an equivalent at any local Subaru specialists if there are any) and factor the cost into your purchasing decision/negotiations.
