Question ECU RESET PART 2

I have reset my ecu today by removing power to it for a few hours.
But now car seems to not drive as well.... seems to feel down on power is this normal while ecu relearns my driving pattern if so how long will it last before it has learnt again...

Thanks in advance Andre

If its a MY99-00 then yes its normal until the ecu relearns, hopefully you didn't follow the "thrash the ***" doctrine that has been advocated on occasion as that would almost certainly make the ecu retard timing even more, after reset that series ecu starts on the "safe" map.

Why did you reset it ?

On the note of ecu resets, should I do this on MY99 if having a full de-cat system fitted?
