Unhappy

Hi Boys and Girls,
Well as I said Friday I was going to replace my
Lambda sensor this week to hopefully sort the mis fire poblem
on idle.Anyway changed it and no change, buma.

Anyways after probing around found that as I gave it light throttle I
could here the throttle sensor click and it start to mis.
But I haven't had any check light or eratic rev idling just
the mis (low Fueling?)

If I altered the sensor possition it would idle perfect but
start to mis higher up the rev range.

If I set it to run rough on idle it still boost ok etc.

First Question.
Is the sensor Knackered or is it something else.

second.
Can the sensor be fixed?

If not how much.

help much appreciated.
Have changed plugs etc.

WW

Morning mate

Bad news about your Throttle position sensor - I had one start toplay up on a MY93 and bought a second hand replacement from Grade-A Subaru (breakers). Not too expensive IIRC

Fitted it and it worked a treat

Yes I did mate - I ended up changing all the bl**dy sensors in the end just to make sure cos the car was a MY93.

Cost me a fortune to do em all but also taught me a fair bit about what does what on the car

Hope you get yours sorted mate cos its frustrating when you have a problem isn't it
