What actually is Knocklink and what does it do. Does it help prevent your engine from a blow.

It is a listening device thats fitted to your engine to listen for detonation in your cylinders, which is then highlighted by means of a set of light from green, all the way up to red followed eventually by a large boom!!!!

Imports: If the red light goes on, in the short term, you lift off the throttle. In the longer term though the way you save your engine from blowing up is to find out why it's detting, and get it sorted. This could mean running more octane booster, getting your car remapped, running water injection, or whatever.
