I've a 95 Leggy GT estate.

About 2 months ago, I managed to hole my radiator, and not surprisingly, everything under the boinnet got a bit moist!

Since then, the belt to the Aircon pump has started screeching occasionally. It shuts up as soon as you turn the Aircon off, so I'm not too concerned about it.

Is there anything I can do to stop it, or is it best to change it??

Hope someone can help!

Maybe it is a bit loose and needs adjusting, not too tight though or the pump bearings will be damaged.

Rubber belts don't like antifreeze. It might be worth inspecting the running surface of the belt to see if it has glazed or started to crack. If so, getting hold of a new belt might be worth considering

Thanks for the advice. Are they difficult to fit?
