Eventually got it back from David Wallis
I drive a MY94 WRX with a Forge DV and SS backbox.
Fitted it tonight and took it out for a run... Well impressed, it has brought the car to life. The main reason I went for it was for the fuelling side of things, but the power is

I previously had a nice shiny MY99 with full decat, dawes, Tek2, ITG etc, and it feels close to the speed of that. Very different drive due to the turbo characteristics etc but feels as fast.
All I can say is for the price, it easily beats a decat.
Get one!

Ticky, I have no idea. It would be bang on standard I imagine. Not fitted the boost guage so not sure what it is now.
To fit - Pull out the retaining lugs on the passenger side carpet on the left. Unscrew the plastic plug on the right side. There's another one on the back left. All easy to find. Then pull the carpet back. Unscrew the nuts on the plate, and the one at the back. ECU is now exposed. Undo the 2 nuts on the ECU. Use a screwdriver to prise out the 4 connectors from the ECU. Remove it and plug in the new one. Check the car runs before replacing the cover / carpet.
Took me 10 mins, but Ive done it many times before

I got one of these from David for my Uk96 a couple of months ago. Well impressed with it, made a huge difference. Already had decat magnex and filter. Don't know exactly what BHP it is now with this fitted. I thought the standard map was 14.5 psi?
Cheers

Thats even better i thought that it had to be soldered in place, kind of put me off, so its that simple. Can you have different map settings then to match boost 14 psi to 18 psi etc. You couldnt mail me on scoobyuk33@aol.com as regards to the cost and contact. Thanks

I dont have any boards left at the moment... so if anybody wants one youll have to wait..
It appears I fooked up on a couple and people are having probs.. will sort those asap.

David - I still owe you big time for helping with the fuel pump so if I can help out in anyway just let me know. I spent 6 years as abench technician so my soldering is pretty good
