that all classic wrx's have alloy bonnets, wings and boot lids?
mine has but everyone else i know with a wrx has steel parts but i was told that the alloy bits were std on imports or was i told wrong?
not entirely sure myself, but it sound's as though the alloy bonnet and stuff woul actually only be fitted to the jap "type ra" the lightweigth version of the classic.
i know it definately is a plain wrx with an alloy bonnet but all the other scooby owners round here have steel ones.
i just need to know if there std so i can settle a debate.
may be all your mates cars have been in accidents and have had the bonnets replaced with UK ones... because as said all WRX's have alloy bonnets... Apart from some wrx wagons, as i know someone who just imported his wrx wagon and it had a steel bonnet..
Yeah ally bonnet ONLY is standard on early WRX
Early RA`s had no spoiler, manual windows, black (reads unpainted)vents & mirrors All the "luxury items" were an option on the RA though.
There are 1 or 2 of the "special" 1st editions around though that were indistinguishable as subaru hadn`t finalised the specs, so it is possible to have alloy bonnet & boot on a WRX etc
