I have seen a picture of a HKS exhaust system an it appears that my, MY94 WRX has one. Does this mean my car has the centre CAT missing ? if its not missing what can I get to replace the CAT on this system ?
Also at the moment my car seams to be much better when its warm boost wise. IF I get an Induction kit, new dump valve and decat it do you think this will sort the problem....I want the extra BHP so I will do it anyway.
What Induction kit is the best ? yes I know its been done to death but I am looking at only the ones for under £100 as I here the jap ones are a rip off.
Thanks in advance guys.

OK, one at a time
If you have an HKS exhaust, you won't have a centre cat, no. The HKS systems are a slightly different size to others, and typically the mid cannot be swapped out to add a cat. Your only one is the DP.
Better when warm - well, yes! And I wouldn't go anywhere near trying to use boost until the engine is warm anyway! Not a good idea... Adding anything won't help the car when it's cold, but it shouldn't matter anyway!
Induction kits: don't do a lot unless you have quite a bit of power, or at least they don't do very much. Unless you like the noise, that is! As to which one, your own choice; there are certain ones which are best avoided on later models because of the delicate MAF, but I don't know details on the MY94WRX model.
Dump valve - doesn't do much except make a noise, possibly improve between-gear performance (if it's a good one) and should be able to handle higher boost than the standard one. That's higher boost as in boost higher than standard!
As for Jap stuff being a rip-off - it might be expensive, but frequently it's better made than much of the rest as well - you pay for what you get!
I think that was a fairly exhaustive reply?

Thanks for your reply....but when I say warm I mean real warm as in like 10 miles traveling at regular speed not hammering the **** out of the car, then put your foot down and it is really smooth no boost problems. The car was underboosting becuase of a blocked intercooler now recon intercooler is fitted its boosting normal but not getting the power when cool if you understand what I mean.
Any sites that have pcitures of the centre section cats so I can make sure that the CAT is not on as its definate the HKS back box without a doubt but not 100% on the system part till I see a standard one.
Cheers m8ty

Oops - I forgot the decat bit! Decat good. Possibly especially so on your car as I'm not convinced you need one for an MOT...
On the 'warm' thing, I have found the same - it seemed to make a difference once the TMIC had been uprated, so I presume it's not because the engine is warm, it's because the intercooler is cold! I imagine when the engine is 'warming' (or the car is just trundling) there is a great deal of heatsoak, so the intercooler is acting as an interheater instead... FMIC I imagine would sort it, but just do the decat - much cheaper & I think the difference should make you happy; even if it doesn't sort the 'warm' problem, there's so much extra oomph that you shouldn't care

scrappy i have a my 94 and i have a hks induction kit and a hks dump valve, the hks dump valve is one noisey little thing and the hks induction kit is of excellent quality, has your car got abs????
if so the blitz kit might not fit due to abs pump being in the way, and the k&n kits adaptors are definately not of the same quality as the hks stuff, hks stuff is pukka gear
