Fitting a Boost Gauge
I am thinking of fitting one to my MY98 Impreza Turbo. Can anyone recommend the best place to get one and an approx. cost?
Also, how easy are they to fit? Is it just a matter of connecting wires?
Thanks in advance
Gavin

www.chiark.com is a good start for a fitting guide.
I found it was easy to fit mine. Just connect power to the backlight from the cigarette lighter backlight (comes on with rest of cabin lights) and the pressure pipe to the intake manifold using the tapped hole in on the drivers side. (depending on model & year...) For some gauges (like Autometer) you may need an adaptor for this plug, as it is a 1/4" or 1/8" BSP tapered thread. (from memory...)
