Default Side indicator bulb replacement issue

my side indicator doesn’t work, so I thought I’d take it out and change the bulb, except how do you get into it? It almost looks like a sealed unit.

A new unit isn’t insanely expensive, but much more than a simple bulb

Hmm, it is possible that I’ve changed these at some point (car is a 2003 wrx), but they have the proper Subaru logo etc on the front face

I was unsure when I saw these on ebay, but they actually look not too bad 👍

You can’t replace just the bulb, they are a sealed unit.
I’ve got a pair of those off ebay but clear and they work really well.
