Hi

I have purchased a 2007 EDM GD impreza for my son

I had a blown 1.5 engine in it and i had read somewere that it was possible to just put in a EJ20 engine and run it with the 1.5 elektronic





I have now installed a 2008 ej20 engine in it and everything is the same , so its a straight fit
just a watertemp sensor/wire thats different



But the problem i have is that the fueltrim is running longterm -29 and its still pulling a bit 5procent on shortterm



I dont belive thats right as the engine Will make hesitation on light throttle , when running a steady speed there is small misfires that i feels like lean running ,



As i Cant map this hitachi ecu i Cant correct it , so i was just interested to hear from others that made that swap to know if thats a problem or it might be something else with this engine ( front lambda / sticking injector )

I Got a used engine from a Carbreaker and dont know for how long it have been sat for
