Default Widetrack and non widetrack spec c

Could someone explain the differences between the non widetrack and widetrack spec c's, the way I understand it is stis of the next generation would inherit stuff from previous spec c's so does that make a pre widetrack spec c the same spec minus the widetrack of the jdm sti widetrack? What extras did the widetrack spec c have that the non spec c didn't, or is widetrack standard jdm sti better than the previous spec c?

there is more than one "spec-C" model in any year so depends on exactly which variant your looking at but in general no the Widetrack cars are a very specific chassis upgrade and doesn't relate to the previous "narrow track" cars.........

best to get yourself over to https://www.type-ra.com/subaru-forum/ where there is very specific knowledge of the JDM cars

As stockcar says there is no straight forward answer as each year it varied.

Below are the engine/transmission variations for the 6 revisions(years) of the Newage Impreza that had a specC variant/s.
Each model code also has various option packs available to it, depending upon year (the pack specification itself, also varies from year to year - not included below)

Only the VIN will give you exact spec.
