2008 Outback CEL
Hello,
I recently bought a 2008 Outback with a non turbo 2.5 and have so far really liked it. It had a check engine light come on for the up stream o2 sensor and the o2 sensor heater. I replaced the o2 sensor with a Germban #234-9123 and the code for the o2 went away, but the CEL is still on the o2 sensor heater. I looked at all the wiring and I did not see anything visibly damaged, then I replaced the fuse that controls the o2 heater in the fuse block under the hood. Does anyone have any advice on what I can check, test, or do to get the CEL light off? Do I need a different o2 sensor?
Thanks for any advice
