Default Immobilisor problems with UK WRX 2001

My only working fob has died, the keypad doesn't seem to work so I can't use the Sigma Access code (assuming it hasn't been changed)
I have looked at a general method using the door key to input the access code by sequencing the lock/unlock.key function.
Does anyone know if this is possible on Scooby's?
If this is possible what do you input for a leading '0' in the Access code, my code is '0612'
I have a second hand fob that seems to work but the immobilsor needs to be programmed to accept it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I think you are quoting a US model method.

Have you checked your fuses in case the alarm supply has died? (test not just visual inspection)

You can still buy a new keypad for the Sigma M30 alarm.

Thanks Don,
Has anyone got a fuse diagram for this model (2001) and can tell me the fuse location and number.
I believe that the M30 unit is behind the glove box and the keypad loom has a separate plug to connect to it, is that correct?
I can then verify whether power is reaching the immobilser.

If you can't get it working, you can get a full ECU / key / lock / alarm thingy for about 200 on eBay.

Should be a direct fit, unless the car has been mapped.

Unable to tell you which supplies it is tapped off of as I don't know. (it has 2 - one battery feed and one ignition controlled)

Keypad and antenna wire has its own connector.

Thanks,
Deciding whether to buy a Sigma S30 system on ebay, only £126 or so.
Can anyone tell me if the M30 is plugged in to the loom and if so would the S30 plug straight in in place without having to cut the car wiring.
If the connections are different has anyone got the pinout and function for the old Sigma M30 connections?.
Would I have to change the thingy around the ignition barrel or would the old on work with the S30.

You are unlikely to get the alarm pinouts from anyone other than Subaru or a Toad/Sigma/Scorpion alarm fitter.
https://www.scorpionauto.com/

Subaru do an upgrade kit from M30 to S30

The "thingy around the ignition barrel" has nothing to do with the sigma alarm but all to do with the subaru OEM immobiliser circuitry via the ecu.
