Oil pressure gauge install
Chaps, just after confirmation / opinion.
I've recently swapped out my old crappy Autogauge oil pressure gauge for a Prosport Performance series gauge. It's connected via an extension pipe from the stock oil pressure sensor location. Everything lights up fine and goes through it's usual startup calibration. It then goes all the way to the max 7 bar location and sits there not moving (unlike the old crappy Auto gauge that used to flap about according to the revs). This applied when the oil was 1/2 way between min and max and the same even after filling it to max level.
Does this sound right?
Many thanks

Thanks for the reply Merlin but managed to work out the problem. The wire that goes to the gauge had come out of the crimped ring. Refitted again and now we have movement according to the revs. Sitting at about 6 bar about 2.5/3k revs and dropping to 2.5 on idle
