06 WRX Cranking but not starting intermittently
Over the past couple of months, I have had an issue with my 06 WRX (82k on the clock) where it will turn over but not start, this is most typically when I have stopped the car and tried to start when it's still hot although there have been some mornings where it's not starting, these seem to have been after a warmer drive back from work the night before.
I have had a little search on here, swapped plugs, checked timing hasn't jumped a tooth (timing belt was done 1000 miles prior to this issue starting). I have had the crankshaft sensor out and checked the ohms and getting 1.9-1.95k each time. I have cleaned the MAF sensor. I'm getting no error code on my code reader during this process.
The next think on my list is the ECU Coolant Temperature Sensor and I am wondering if this could be giving a false reading causing a vapor lock once it's been parked. I do have a small exhaust leak in the bay but I don't think this would be causing a failure to start, I may be wrong of course!
