Default rad fans always on

HI all, I have just got back in to Scooby ownership after a few years away with a 2003 wrx sti import, I have just noticed the rad fans come on with the ignition even when cold and stay on. Any ideas. thanks steve

Have you checked it's not in test mode?

Fecked CTS, when they fail a lot of the time they show high 90`s on a laptop, so it would bring the fans on,

I have fitted a new cts but the fans still came on straight away, I have since discovered that if you switch off the heater blower in the car the rad fans go off, then if you switch the blower back on there is a click sound, prob a relay, and the rad fans come back on, is this a track mod ? could do with disabling it for now.

You have the stock ECU right? This happened to me after I installed my Link G4+ so I had to change the polarity in the software. Unlikely to be your problem but you never know.

The joys of having an import with no owners manual, when you put the blower on screen or even part screen the air con comes on automatically without the air con light on switch coming on, that then brings the rad fans on, turn the controls to vents or feet and all works normally on air con switch. doh

Airconditioning? fans will always run with a/c on. The click you possibly hear is the pump clicking into operation?
