Decent Brake Pads
Hi to all,
Looking for some advice regarding a decent set of good brake pads, I have only had the car a week, will be posting up
pics soon of new car, at current it has a set of Ferodo DS2500 front pads, they are awful, especially from cold, and they
squeal terribly, feel it is dangerous as the car is running 313bhp, and doesn't feel it would stop very quickly.
The car has Brembo discs all round
Thankyou for any advice
Best Regards
Marc

Phone Alyn Stockton at AS Performance - 0191 410 3770.
Tell him what you're after and he can recommend based on that he;'ll have everything from standard replacements to to 24h endurnace race space. Keep his number in your phone, his advice and service are second to none in the Subaru community. No. I'm not on commission...

If you're just after an OEM feel but that can handle a little bit of stick then brembo hp2000 are good, I've got them on my blob and they don't squeak. If you're on a budget then standard pagid pads from euro car parts get good reviews as well, but I've not personally used them.

Thanks for your help guys
I am wondering if my Brembo brake discs are shot, as when I apply pressure to the brakes honestly there is not
much resistance there at all, and I don't like the brake squeal, bit embarrassing when arrive home lol
LewisScoob, thanks for Alyn's number will be worth giving him a call and see what he says, I don't really know
what brake pads I want, but will explain
