Default Anyone used Tuning Developments exhausts?

As my project has spiralled out of control I'm now looking at 3" exhausts to replace the full H&S 2.5" I currently have on my car.

Tuning Developments seem to make a very nice looking 3" decat downpipe and full 3" system for my car (2015+ STI) so I could be interested.

Has anyone had experience of them or their products & exhausts on their cars?

They seem quite big in the Starlet and GT86 forums and I can see a few people have had issues with their mapping and service work on occasions.

I looked at H&S 3" systems and that would have been:

£314 for 3" decat downpipe, £370 for centre pipe, £744 for rear boxes, so all in £1428 direct from H&S.

If I go through Scoobyworld then the system is £1064 alone and they don't have a H&S 3" decat downpipe listed currently for some reason.

So all in still works out slightly more than the Tuning Developments 3" system.

Banned from a few of the starlet/glanza pages for being bad, scammed one lad and only paid him back after he publicly humiliated them,

Do your research before giving them any money, they have their fair share of horror stories, taking forever on builds etc.

But like most places you only remember the bad stories

I'm not buying injectors from them thankfully, have all my parts already from reputable suppliers like ASP and SC.

Just the Tuning Developments exhaust I would have been interested in as it looks like a nice piece of kit. If I could find out who made it for them I'd go to them instead!

LOL. I'd love to see where you found that on Alibaba. Can't find any pictures related to their products on there or any generic subaru exhausts anything like theirs to be honest.

Tuning developments are around the corner from where I live. Mike and Nick are a decent pair of knowledgeable lads. I've had loads of engine parts from them, turbo, pistons, dump valve, wastegate you name it.
as with any business there will be bad experiences but personally never had an issue.

I've already done loads of googling and found all these issues Smurf, I'm more interested to see if anyone on here has first hand experience of this company and their products.

Thanks for the input though.

I reckon even if there isn't you should go for it just to see.

Hopefully someone myt put a vid up or that ?

Did u check their facebook page to see if anything there ?

So I sent Tuning Developments an email after they responded to my eBay message about the exhaust on Monday. I sent the email 3 days ago, followed up with more info, sent another yesterday and one more today and still 3 days later they haven't replied to any of my messages and have now stopped replying to eBay messages too. Not a single response.

Very disappointing.

Quite disappointing to hear, you could have had one of the usual suspects delivered to your door in that time.

Have you tried another ebay message incase contact details were wrong ?

Well I went for it today! Been chatting to Mike @ Tuning Developments today and he was able to get one of their systems out to take some additional pictures for me. Have to say, it's all hand built including the silencers by them in stainless and fully tig welded by hand. It looks brilliant.

So I went for it and ordered the 3" decat downpipe and full 3" exhaust!

Few pics below.
