Default Hawkeye headlight washer jet delete

The headlight washer jets on my hawk annoy me so I want to block them off or disconnect them. Are they "driven" purely by water pressure when they pop out? If they are, I was thinking that disconnecting the pipe and blocking it off with a bung of some sort or a clamp would do the job. Anything I need to be aware of before I charge on with this?

Nah had them on my Impreza and removed them. Fitted new bumper with no jet holes. Then moved the hoses to the intercooler and used them to spray water on the intercooler.

As it has HID lights then the headlamp washers must work for the MOT
