Hi I fitted some 4 pots to my other car and new lines and rear calipers iv bled the brakes a few times but they just don't feel right , there not spongy and have a great bite it's just when I'm braking hard from say 70 they don't seem to stop very well it's like the pedal doesn't want to go down anymore but I need it to has anyone experienced anything like this

08 civic type r fitted new disks pads all round new calipers and s/s lines on front got 4 pots with ds2500 pads

Ok thanks I did bleed it about 5 times with engine ruining , could there still be air in the system or could be a bad booster , the pedal feels good until you feel you need to brake harder and it doesn't want go down any more but it only feels like it's half way down

Ok thanks mate I will give that ago , I dint check sizes but I'm sure I had this problem when I had the oe brakes

Hi I did a few checks today I pumped the pedal until it went hard then turned on the car and the pedal did drop a bit I also sprayed some soapy water around the master cylinder and saw no bubbles and I checked the hose but couldn't see any rips or damage, any ideas what it could be

Ok thanks mate so would I need to go out do some hard braking then come back and bleed them , would the pedal feel spongy tho

Ok thanks lads I might just take it to a garage , the pedal feels nice and hard no spongey feeling just to check when bleeding do you start from the furthest away from master cylinder so rear passenger and end up at front drivers and as the 4 pots have 2 nipples do the inside one first then outside and does it make a difference with engine on or off
