Default ID this pipe ?

Whilst trying to sort a misfire on my rally car we found this pipe had split completely at the inlet manifold end

Repairing it didn't cure the misfire, but please can someone tell me the purpose of this pipe ? Thanks

its a vacuum pipe. Difficult to tell what one from the photo, probably from the inlet manifold and connected to either the turbo, turbo actuator or boost solenoid. RE misfire; Early engines like the one in the photo are prone to coil pack caps cracking. First signs are a misfire under load.
