Default Stock Dump Valve Noise

I have owned my 2007 Hawkeye for nearly 6 years. She has covered about 78k miles.

During this time, I am 99% sure the stock dump valve - or should I say recirc valve - has been getting noisier and noisier It's nothing like a Forge or HKS; it's more of a whoosh or shush, like it's venting to atmosphere rather than getting recirculated.

I don't mind the sound as I have previously considered a dump valve and this is a kind of 'in-between'. But, could I be losing boost?

Is there anywhere I can check for a lose or leaky hose? Has anyone else noticed an increase in sound over time?

Thanks.
