Should RCM up pipe be this close to block?
Hi all, is anybody able to advise if this RCM up pipe i have fitted today should be this close to the back of the head?? There is literally a mm if that of clearance between it. Is this going to cause damage of any kind? I know the standard one I removed was a snug fit but this seems even more so. The pipe is 6 months old obtained for a third of the normal price on ebay so couldnt resist.
Any help much appreciated.
Its worth mentioning when i took this pic, the manifold and up pipe were all torqued up, and the 3 nuts that the up pipe connects to on the turbo it self.
The 2 remaining nuts on the turbo housing brackets i hadnt torqued up, nor the rest of the exhaust system, so i cant really fathom if anything would be causing it to sit 'squiffy'. I also doubled up the gaskets on the bottom of the up pipe to try and give it a tad more clearance.
Thanks! Alex.
