Fitting a classic exhaust to a Newage; Donut or flat gasket??
I'm putting a classic 3" turbo back exhaust on my Blob. At the end of the classic downpipe, should I join the mid section with a flat gasket or a donut type to allow some flex??
I've got the recess in the exhaust flange but the downpipe is the flat gasket kind. Any issues with not running a donut gasket? i.e. cracked exhaust etc?
If it has no flexi in it and flat gasket chances are it will crack somwhere
Hmm... That's my concern. 99% of the downpipe out there seem to be the flat gasket type with no flexi though. Might be enough movement in the rubber hangers?
