Thumbs up ESC old skool present the Halfway House (A127) 2012 Xmas meet 6/12/2012

Contrary to popular belief the old skool ESC are not dead. To prove this we are holding our World famous (well in Essex) Christmas meet at the Halfway House this coming Thursday.

There's even a rumour of a Subaru being in attendance

Any interest?

The Nurse doesn't normally let Pete out after 6pm. If she does, he has to change his own nappies

New Esc are welcome to any of the meets, I'm sure if possible oldies ( most of us are scoobless now) would come along

Perhaps I should have entitled this 'ESC forefathers present.......', then again I would have been questioned about what happened to the previous 3!!!!

Then again ESC could now stand for Essex Senior Citizens!

I would agree with what has been said already.

The HH meet is the original 1 or 2 meets that used to occur (the other meet merged with the HH meet), and has been the same day for more years than I care to remember. So failing to turn up at this meet doesn't make anyone old or new, but others have created a new meet, which is fine, but I prefer to turn up at the old haunt.

I will also add that in the 10+ years I have been going, I have probably only missed 4 or 5 at the Halfway House.

I can relate to that Ed.

Is there a bus stop near the HH?

In these difficult economic times I could use my bus pass.

I've long forgotten when the HH meet is - went a couple of times about 8 years ago and only recently got back into the scooby scene this year..

When was it last posted up and advertised for newbies to come along? :P

Cut all this old and new crap out guys, I thought this was about being social with all sorts of people brought together by the same passion for motors?
