Specialist repairs/servicing?
Hey all,
It seems i have a problem, cooling fan is constantly running, drinking oil, and coolant has turned from pink to black sludge. Aparently ive popped a head gasket?
As i havent had the car long i dont know what sort of specialists we have in the area? Nearest scooby dealership is chelmsford so would prefer if there was someone closer to romford area as getting back will be a PITA without a motor.
After it has been repaired id like it to be fully serviced after too.

To be fair, if it actually means going the distance to have a PROPER job done and not just another motor to plough through on subarus list i would consider it. Ill have to arrange travel to and from such place(s). My main priority is getting the gasket sorted at the mo, as its killing me not being able to drive "the beast", id rather have a more respectful "specialist" do the work as im sure it will be more of a cowboyish job if the main stealers get hold of it. Where are FB tuning based?

Builds good engines, mapping, servicing, you name it
Recently fitted my gearbox and looks after the health of both my scoobs
Worth the travel, I trailered my car to FB Tuning as I wanted a proper job

Was in lakeside today so popped down for them to have a look at the car. Their response was to try the company "next door" as they specialize in jap cars.
When i walked next door i couldnt beleive i drove straight past them and didnt even notice them. Few scoobs in the garage and an evo or two sitting outside. Look and sound quite respectable (prodrive certified) more than helpful and did a full test for head gasket to my request even after diagnosing my problem, it seems the standard rad hoses are breaking down and leaving deposits of rubber around the cooling circuit. Samco hoses here we come
Hopefully if we can source some in time i may be able to join the brighton run once again as its a mere 3/4 hours labour for the change over. I will be having a full coolant flush and refill anyway so may be a bit longer
Anywho first impressions on this company are quite high, and local enough for me to get the bus back
Also there was a white "L" reg wrx up high, think i saw it at the last southend meet. If he/she reads this, what feedback could you provide about this company?
