Modified Live 2009, Sunday 28th June at Brands Hatch (including Time Attack)
The SIDC is pleased to confirm it will be attending Modified Live at Brands Hatch,this event will also include the latest round of the Time Attack and the European Drift Championship.
The Modified Live gang are back, this time at Brands Hatch circuit in Kent, June 28th 2009 for the 'Summertime Special' show.
June 28th will be the date that Modified Live takes over Brands Hatch and what an event we have planned for you.
There will be plenty of attractions to keep you all entertained regardless of your age.
Catch up with the UK's hottest cars, tuners & women at the Summertime Special Spectacular.

Hi all,
We have added an all new Gymkhana activity to our show at Brands Hatch on June 28th ( Modified Live Summertime Special featuring Time Attack and EDC Drift ) which now means you can drive your own car at the show in this brand new feature.
For £25 you get 3 timed runs on the specially laid-out course which is being run in the lower paddock. There are 3 categories, FWD, RWD and 4WD and there will be a trophy for the winning quickest time in each - which will take place on the main Time Attack podium at the main prize giving on the day with media coverage and a special mention on our websites as the hero's of the first ever Gymkhana competition in our scene.

If you've read enough and want to secure your place online and in advance, click this to go direct to our shop, ensuring you fill in all your details for easy identification on the day.

Update from Andy
Quick update, me and Glen laid out the course last night at Brands as a test session which follows the 'on paper' plan produced and it works really well.
I took my RWD R32 GTR up there to get a proper grip on a real time course and a completed course takes about 40-45 seconds if you get it right, we also made some minor changes to make it work good in practise.
There's run off with only cones to hit and its one of those courses that looks easier than it is and alot of fun, actually quite addictive to get right.
We've sold a fair number of advance runs on the webshop already so if you are planning on coming down, best book in advance although it will be running pretty much all day from 10am with a lunchbreak and Drft Taxi's the only things in between so there should be ample opportunity to run the course.
